Thirty years of building outdoor spaces that feel inevitable.
Constructive Design Group was founded on a simple belief: that outdoor living spaces should be designed with the same care and intention as the homes they surround. Since 1994, we’ve been turning Triangle backyards into destinations — completing over 400 projects across Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, and surrounding communities.
Bryan Perry founded CDG with a background in both design and construction. We don’t separate the design conversation from the build reality. Every idea we propose, we can execute — and every project is backed by 30+ years of hands-on experience in the North Carolina climate.

Bryan Perry
Founder & Principal Designer
Bryan founded CDG in 1994 after working in both residential construction and landscape design. With over three decades of experience building in the North Carolina climate, he brings deep knowledge of local soils, drainage patterns, and the Triangle’s unique outdoor living needs.
He is involved in the design of every project and maintains relationships with clients long after the build is complete. His hands-on approach ensures that every CDG project meets the same high standard — from the first sketch to the final walkthrough.
